Dr. Avon's log, 003

Well, before I do any more Fusions, I suppose I should explain to you all about Scarkrai. Maybe some of you have seen him, if not there is a picture of him above you.

I managed to snap one before he slashed my camera in half. Luckily the film was intact.

Do not attempt to approach him... he hates... pretty much everything. Yeah.

So anyway, about Scarkrai. Well, long story short, he's the first Pokemon I ever had. No joke.

See, my parents worked for a coperation that made fusion splices of Pokemon (this was before Fusecorp bought them out), so the whole fusion thing runs in the blood I guess.

Anyway, one day, I found an injured Treecko in the woods next to my parents lab. It was servely hurt, and looked like it was going to die (we later learned this was a Team Rocket attack). We waited for it to recover using advanced science, but it only got worse and worse. It became quite apparent, much to my dismay, that the Treecko would die a slow torturous death.

...

Finally, a solution was proposed. They were going to use extraneous DNA in order to mend the Treecko on a genetic level. It works because during recombination, cells are actually rejuvinated, which is what my parents were able to do (I helped a bit). Unluckily, because Treecko was already born, it wouldn't accept the DNA we tried to put into it. Another solution came into play- use the DNA of some legendary Pokemon. After all, legendary Pokemon possesed incredible power, even on a genetic level they were special. We had to use the DNA of two of them, the only two we had at the time- Darkrai and Giratina.

It actually worked, although the Treecko's hand couldn't be healed no matter what we ttried, so my mother outfitted it with cybernetic components, later I would in turn modify those to create the 'Drain Guard' as you see now.

So, the Treecko became healthy again, and evolved as it usually does to become what you see in the picture above. I'll check the documents later, but I believe that Scarkrai might in fact be the first Fusemon to evolve... (of course it can't evolve any more).

Due to the team rocket attack, Scarkrai has become a loner in every sense of the word. He avoids contact with virtually everyone and everything, and pretty much hates... everything.

Still, he at least seems to stay in the same general area as me so that's somewhat of a good sign...

Okay, so here's some more information for documentation:

Scarkrai trains every day for as long as he can. This makes him very very strong, and I've even seen him take down a Moltres once. However, because he never listens to me, his power is usually reduced to about half of what he's capable of. Still, do not aproach.

Scarkrai's speed is off the charts. He can literally run a mile in less than two seconds- I tested myself. This is of course due to the fact that both Darkrai and Sceptile are fast Pokemon in general.

The Drain Guard functions as Scarkrai's right hand, but it is an Item and has effects. The Drain Guard (one of the items I have created) allows a grass type Pokemon to absorb 1/2 of the damage inflicted to an opponent. This makes Scarkrai especially hard to defeat.

His signature Move Void Blade is a ??? type, meaning that it always does neutral samage to any opponent! Pretty cool huh? So, you might now think that 'hey, it looks like the dude got save, and even got a power boost at that!'.

Wrong.

Remember what I said about rejection? See, Fusemon are easy to create before their born because they have no solid DNA sequence yet. But creatures that are already born tend to reject the DNA given to them, seeing it as 'foreighn contanimant'.

Scarkrai's DNA from the three different beings have completely fused with each other over the years, and that's actually a bad thing. This is because the 'Sceptile' part of Scarkrai is still rejecting the other two parts.

If Scarkrai's genetic level rejection reaches critical mass (which it HAS done at times), Scarkrai will morph into 'Overshadow mode'. In this form, Scarkrai is stronger than even some of the legendaries. However it is at this stage that sckrai is most likely to die. The excess energy gieven off in his forme is a by product of his cells trying to split themselves apart. Also, in this forme Scarkrai gains Giratina's 'tentacles', as well as a few other features.

This is why Scarkrai trains constantly- so that Overshadow mode is never achieved. It's also the reason he does not battle much- decreasing his health is another factor that can lead to Overshadow.

So yeah. Please do not attempt to fight or capture him, because I really don't want him to die...

Pessimistic options aside, I believe that even though he hates pretty much everything, Scarkrai is a good Pokemon at heart! That's why every day I try and befriend him!

Although every day he slashes me in the face and runs off...

Nonetheless! I will keep trying! Wish me luck, and I hope this document was useful!

End log 003

Long story again. Sorry.

So yeah, tell me what you think! :iconfuse-corp:

Could you draw Overshadow mode?
