"These pokemon can dart faster than the human eye can see. Often, they will use this to thier advantage by quickly suckling nectar from flowers then vanishing before anyone knows it was ever there. Their heart beats 20x faster than a human's heart in order to attain this great speed. They are friendly creatures by nature, but often cannot be domesticated as easily as other pokemon because they enjoy their freedom. Still, if they like a human enough, they will often return to them."

Creation / Conception
I just wanted a cute little hummingbird, that's really all the motivation I needed to add this one to the dex. This worked out because its evolution becomes a frail speedster in battle. The design was inspired from Pokemon Sage's Floressum (capx.wikia.com/wiki/Floressum ), my favorite starter from the lot FYI.
Name comes from "Flitti", a corruption of "flitter" and "beak".
